The Friends of Windermere School

The Friends are an established group formed to support Windermere School through a varied range of fundraising activities and social events during the academic year. The Friends comprise a committee of parents supported by a network of parent Form Co-ordinators.

The Friends' events and social activities are also intended to create a friendly and welcoming social community for the benefit of parents, students and staff, which helps to highlight the family atmosphere of our school.

Funding is provided for projects which would normally fall outside of the Schools’ budget and which enhance the educational and recreational experience across all ages of the students.

The distribution of the funds raised through these events is made at the discretion of the Committee. The requests for funding are made to the Committee after approval by the Headmaster.
