24 Peaks Challenge

A group of intrepid parents from Windermere School raised over £4,000 to send young carers on the school’s annual residential Summer School for 11 to 17 year olds this July. They walked 24 peaks in under 24 hours on the hottest day of the year to date. Read the full article here

Diessen Visit

Monday 10 May 10

Following the visit of 25 pupils from Ammersee Grammar school last month, 17 pupils in year 9 at Windermere School went to the twin town of Diessen, in the first week of May 2010. Located in the South East of Germany, in the delightful Bavarian hills at the edge of Lake Ammersee, Diessen is quite similar to Windermere.Read the full Article here (German Newspaper)
