Boarding

Boarding is a happy and contented way of life for many WPS students, some joining the school as full-time boarders from the age of eight. Elleray children board on the main WPS campus in single-sex houses under the supervision of an experienced Housemaster or Housemistress, ably supported by their assistant and academic tutors.

The boarders from Elleray have the additional pastoral care of Miss Benn, whose responsibility is to liaise with Elleray staff and parents on any pastoral or other issues. Miss Benn will also take Elleray boarders to and from school each day.

We provide a safe and caring extended family environment where boarding pupils can flourish academically, socially and personally. Full boarding and weekly boarding options are available, and where possible we will try to accommodate flexi boarding arrangements to suit individual needs.

Boarding and day pupils alike are encouraged to take part in the busy schedule of evening and weekend activities.
