Langdale

Boys aged 8 to 16 board at Langdale House, a lodge style boarding house opened in September 2001. It has an impressive common room with a timber deck to take in the mountian view. It is an excellent combination of traditional boarding with modern conveniences with suites, double and single rooms allocated for each age group. Housemaster Mr Mark Winter and his assistant, Miss Benn, have developed an atmoshpere of both fun and structure, where the boys are proud and respectful of their surroundings.

As in all the boarding houses, full, weekly and flexi options are available to suit family preferences. In the early evening academic tutors are at Langdale to offer subject specific extra tuition which the boys find very beneficial.

There is a great social scene at Langdale, with its large common room and timber deck, as well as smaller common rooms for each age group.
Boarders are able to make the most of their time at Langdale House, forming lifetime friendships, gaining independence as well as knowledge and with plenty of time and space to participate in a host of extra-curricular activities.
