International Summer School

Improve English language skills in a beautiful setting and experience what it's like to live and study at a British boarding school. With a strong international reputation and established credentials, we offer an unrivalled mix of EAL language tuition, afternoon sporting or cultural activities, and a full programme of evening social events.
The complete three-and-a-half-week course will take place from 7th July to 31st July inclusive, and each place costs £2,800.

- Students are advised to bring a modest amount of pocket money. Students may leave their money and valuables in the school safe with daily access if required.
Summer Camp

One, two or three-week options
Join our residential camp for teens in the beautiful Lake District National Park. Choose from specialist sports training, watersports, drama workshops or cultural visits during the day, and attend social programmes in the evenings.
One-week camp (7 days) £385
Two-week camp ( 14 days) £690
Full camp (19 days) £835
All fees include
- Full board and meals
- Use of all school facilites including the waterfront outdoor centre
- All creative arts materials and tuition
- Local transport and entrance fees to excursions and destinations
- Specialist sports training and coaching
- Certificates (where applicable)
- Choice of sporting, watersports, cultural and outdoor activities
- Activities include sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, kayaking, swimming, tennis, football, badminton, volleyball, arts and crafts, horse riding, rock climbing, archery, shooting, fencing, photography, art, drama and cultural excursions.
Before applying, we recommend you contact the school to ensure that places are still available. Upon acceptance of your booking, we will send confirmation of your child’s place and request a non-refundable deposit of £420, though you may pay in full, if you wish.
The balance of payment will be due four weeks before commencement of the Summer School. Please be aware that only part of the fee will be refundable if you cancel your place within 30 days of the start of the programme (see Terms and Conditions).
Payment can be made by cheque (British currency) payable to: Windermere Educational Trust Limited, or by direct bank transfer.
Cancellation charges:
60 days or more before commencement of the course: no charge
43-60 days before commencement of the course: £420 (deposit)
11-42 days before commencement of the course: 50% of course fees
0-10 days before commencement of the course: 100% of course fees
After course has started: 100% of course fees
