International Summer Schools 2012
Make new friends in an amazing location
We are pleased to announce an expansion of the International Summer School schedule for Summer 2012. In addition to our established July course, we have now added two additional courses in August.
Visiting students from ages 11 to 17 are afforded the choice of three English language courses covering 8 weeks over the summer months. The last course has the added advantage of being scheduled to feed into the new school year, acting as the perfect transition for new or returning students to settle into school life, having improved their English, met Windermere staff and made new friends going through the same process.
A three-and-a-half-week course from 4 - 28 July 2012
A two-week course from 31 July - 13 August 2012
A two-week course from 15 - 28 August 2012

With strong credentials and a beautiful setting, the International Summer School has enjoyed many successful seasons attracting students from all over the world looking to improve their English language skills and join in our outdoor activities and cultural excursions.
Our summer school participants stay in the safe and healthy environment of the Windermere School boarding facilities where they are grouped by age and gender, with 24-hour supervision and care. Meals are provided in the school dining hall, which overlooks the lake, and special dietary requirements are catered for upon request. Although the school enjoys a spectacular country-side setting in the Lake District National Park, the bustling tourist centre and well equipped village of Windermere is only minutes away.
