Hardship Fund

As a result of the Covid19 Pandemic, families across the Windermere School community have experienced profound and sudden changes to their daily lives. As well as the impact felt across the United Kingdom, our region has also been acutely affected by the sudden loss of tourism.

Windermere School has a strong and dedicated community and the strength of this has been demonstrated by the number of messages we have received from across the world from people asking how they can help others during these extraordinary times.

Whilst the fee reductions we have announced will be of some comfort to parents, we realise that there are some families for whom the school will need to do more. In order to be in a position to do this, we are launching the Hardship Fund to enable Windermere School families to access support during this challenging time.

The pandemic will have impacted every family in a different way and we realise that not everyone will be in a position to give at this time. However, if you are able to help us support families within our community, there are a variety of ways in which this can be done.

Suggested ways to donate to the Hardship Fund

· Donate your 10% reduction in day fees

· Donate the reduction in your boarding fee for the summer term

· Give a one-off gift of an amount of your choice

· Set up a monthly payment

How to donate

Thank you for considering donating to the Hardship Fund. We assure you that any gift received will directly benefit families within our community.

Donating your fee reduction

If you would like to donate your fee reduction for the summer term, please complete the donation form which can be accessed via the link below. Once you have submitted the form, our Director of Development will get in contact with you to finalise your donation.

One-off donations

Single donations for your chosen amount can be made by bank transfer or cheque. Please complete the form below to provide us with the details of your donation.
