We are pleased to announce a vacancy for a full-time Teaching Assistant for the academic year 2019-20 to cover for a member of staff on Maternity Leave.  This is a term time only position with an additional requirement to attend any INSET days, usually five per year, which fall outside of the School terms and to work any Public Holidays when the School is operational.

Applicants need to have good literacy and numeracy skills, knowledge and experience of SEND and be prepared to support pupils in KS1 and 2. Familiarity of working with and implementing interventions for individuals with specific and moderate learning difficulties would be an advantage.

Applicants should have a relevant TA qualification – Level 2, 3 or HLTA, have a professional and committed attitude to work at all times and be able to adopt flexible teaching styles.

We are looking for applicants with a calm, approachable personality, team spirit and an interest in extending their professional development, who are keen to learn about how to use new techniques and resources.
