Windermere School, the Sunday Times International Baccalaureate School of the Year 2018, is an IB World and Round Square School stunningly situated in the heart of the Lake District, overlooking the shores of Windermere and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We require a Development Director to help the School establish its own Foundation and the formation of a board of trustees. Knowledge and/or experience of the legal requirements involved would be an advantage. This position is full-time and will include evening and weekend work.
The role of the Development Director is to create charitable, long-term income streams which will enable the School to continue to develop and advance its infrastructure, enabling it to compete effectively in the independent school market and provide students with first class facilities in which they learn.
Enjoyment of the role and the school is key to the success of the individual and the fundraising role.
