One of the ways the Outdoor Team have continued to challenge you while at home this term is through the Step Challenge.
The aim was for you to use a flight of stairs in your home, using your steps to virtually climb the height of each mountain, one at a time. For example, once you have ascended Orrest Head you start again from sea level to climb Wansfell Pike etc.
Holly and Elizabeth are closest to completing their challenge, both have succeeded in climbing the height of Mont Blanc and the heights below are how FAR UP they got on Everest, they are very close to summiting the peak:
Holly – 6712m
Elizabeth – 6557m
The next closest is Freya, she is 4576m up Mont Blanc and Joss is also doing very well at 1213 UP Mont Blanc.
