Children aged six to ten years old can join our Kids Club. The Kids Club will run from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, with drop-off from 8.45am. Each week-long course costs £280, or you can book daily. The cost includes a freshly prepared lunch. Book your place today by completing and returning the registration form. You can now pay online too.
Our Kids Club offers high quality, entertaining and educational summer holiday experiences for 6 to 10 year olds. Located in the picturesque surroundings of Windermere School (Browhead), the site offers outstanding facilities and spaces for young people to learn and play. Our programme is designed and delivered by qualified outdoor educational professionals using an experiential approach to teaching and learning.
Learning though direct experience with reflection, our programmes and activities aim to offer children hands on experiences and real world learning whilst encouraging children to think and reflect on their experiences. Our courses will see children taking part in a range of exciting activities including:
Children will be supervised by our Holiday Course Leaders and a team of student volunteers. Activities will be delivered by the Course Leader, student volunteers and specialist instructors. Combining Kids Club with Watersports

Children who are taking part in our Watersports Courses at Hodge Howe can also join the Kids Club in the afternoons. Following the watersports courses, we will transport children to Elleray campus for lunch and afternoon activities. The cost for a combined watersports and kids club course is £280 per week.
Children can either arrive at Hodge Howe for 10.00am, or can arrive at Elleray at 9.00am. Please note your choice on the registration form.

Three of our four daughters have been boarders at the Senior School following our unexpected move to Hong Kong in 2012. One moved back to board at Windermere following two years in Hong Kong and our youngest can't wait to follow in her footsteps and return as an overseas boarder into Year 9. We cannot fault the standard of education and care which the girls have enjoyed throughout their Windermere journeys. In particular, we love the location - and the way in which the Lake District becomes part of the curriculum - and the international flavour of the Senior School.
Windermere School is such a unique community to be a part of. Not only is it based in a truly beautiful and inspiring national park, but the environment created by staff and students alike makes for an incredibly supportive, proactive, exciting and international place of learning in which everyone can thrive and be the best they can be.
