The Windermere School Junior International Scholarship is awarded to international boarding pupils entering Years 6-9 in September 2021. This award offers talented pupils the chance to receive up to a 50% reduction in the annual tuition and boarding fees until the end of Year 11.


We welcome applications for this scholarship from candidates who are not currently part of our community of pupils. We seek candidates who would further diversify our global boarding family.

Recipients of this award will be motivated pupils aged 10-14 years, who can demonstrate commitment to their educational journey and a desire to further engage with academic and extracurricular opportunities alike.

Entry Requirements

  • Candidates will be required to submit their most recent school report and a short essay up to 500 words outlining their reasons for applying for this award.
  • We will seek a confidential reference from the candidate’s current school as part of the selection process.
  • To assess a candidate’s suitability for our Junior International Scholarship Programme, candidates will have an online interview with the Head and the Head of Lower School.
