Pre-School at Elleray

The Pre-School at the Elleray Campus is a constant hive of activity which allows the children in our care to thrive in all areas of their early childhood development.

The Early Years staff ensure each day is a memorable and exciting time for children, all being immersed in experiences which are tailored to each and every individual, allowing them to reach their own full potential, at a pace which they are comfortable with.

The team at Windermere School are dedicated and highly qualified who support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

Activities and tasks are planned around themes and cover key skills based on the key areas of learning and development, as set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage:

Prime Areas:

  • Personal Development
  • Social Development
  • Emotional Development
  • Physical Development
  • Communication
  • Language

Specific Areas:

  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design

We strive to ensure all of our children are ready for their next steps in their own learning journey and to be proud of who they are and show this off to the world.

Pre-School runs between 8.30am and 3.30pm, with the option of after-school care until 5.30pm.
