International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP)

Windermere School is an IB World School offering the IB Diploma Programme. It is now also a candidate school* for the IB Career-related Programme.

The International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme, or IBCP, is a framework for international education that is designed to meet the needs of individual students. Windermere School was one of only eleven schools worldwide, and the only school in the UK, to pilot what was to become the IBCP.

Our experience shows us that the course incorporates the vision, principles and academic rigour of IB, but also provides a personalised career-related pathway. The IBCP develops transferable and lifelong skills with academic strength in a practical field leading to further education, higher education, apprenticeships or the work place.
