Model United Nations is an exercise in research, public speaking, and teamwork. Students are placed in committees and act as delegates for a specific country at a simulated UN conference. Solutions and actions are proposed by delegates to tackle real-world issues and problems.

You will learn about the United Nations, diplomacy and international relations, and increase your understanding of current world issues. This experience, and the skills that you develop, will be an asset throughout our career and will be a useful addition to any CV or resume.

West End at Windermere – NEW for 2021!

Suitable for performers of all abilities; a reasonable level of spoken English is required.

Windermere School has a long and successful history in the performing arts. Recent School performances include Hairspray, Legally Blonde, and Grease. We are delighted to introduce this new specialisation to our International Summer School for 2021. Under the guidance of experienced and enthusiastic staff, and using the School’s auditorium and extensive collection of props, each week you will plan and rehearse and perform an excerpt from a well known musical.

Please note this is a full day option  (Monday to Friday).

Suitable for all Sailing abilities; most of the other sailors are native English speakers so a good level of spoken English is required to ensure your safety, and that of others.

Learn to Sail, or develop your existing skills, at Hodge Howe, Windermere School’s own Royal Yachting Association (RYA) accredited Sailing and Watersports Centre. With lessons from our qualified, experienced and friendly Watersports team, you will progress through the RYA syllabus, collecting awards as you complete each level and receive a logbook at the end of your course. We have a range of boats including Bugs, Picos, Lasers, and Fevas. Safety is our top priority and all safety equipment is provided.

30 hours of sailing lessons per course.
