A Fantastic Start to the Year for Windermere Sixth Form

The new academic year has begun with a flurry of activity for the Sixth Form at Windermere School, with both Year 12 and Year 13 enjoying unforgettable experiences over the weekend.

Year 13 travelled to London for what was truly a trip of a lifetime. The group immersed themselves in the city’s rich history and culture, before testing their teamwork and problem-solving skills at the Crystal Maze. The trip was rounded off in style with a night at the Adelphi Theatre, where students enjoyed the spectacular production of Back to the Future. It was an exciting and inspiring way to begin their final year at Windermere.

While Year 13 were away, Year 12 made the most of having the boarding house to themselves. They enjoyed a relaxed and fun evening together, complete with a bar and outdoor pizza-making night under the stars. The following day, they headed to Liverpool, where they took part in an interactive race across the city, followed by some well-deserved shopping.

Both year groups have had a wonderful start to the year, combining teamwork and fun. We look forward to seeing all that our Sixth Form students will achieve and experience in the months ahead.
