ICT Technician

Annual Salary: £20,699 per annum, full-time.

Windermere School has a vacancy for an ICT Technician. The role will be based at our Senior School campus on the A592 Patterdale Road, Windermere but will also cover our Elleray Campus in Windermere, and our Watersports Centre.

Accountability: The ICT Technician is accountable to the ICT Manager and will work closely with the school staff, students and suppliers.

Windermere School takes pride in the quality of the education, opportunities and facilities available to students. The efficiency of its IT service for students, staff and visitors is extremely important and plays an important part in attracting and retaining students.

Established in 1863, Windermere School is an independent boarding and day school for boys and girls aged between 3 and 18 years of age. An IB World and Round Square School stunningly situated in the heart of England’s Lake District, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the School has three campuses: Elleray for children aged 3 to 11 years, Browhead for those aged 11 to 18 years, and Hodge Howe, an RYA (Royal Yachting Association) accredited Watersports Centre, on the shores of Lake Windermere. Elleray and Browhead are approximately one-and-a-half miles apart.
