Careers and Business – Dream Placement

In the week before half-term all Year 11, 12 and 13 students were invited to apply for a Dream Placement. This is an opportunity to work with senior managers in businesses across the county. Nine students from Year 12 and 13 Business have been shortlisted to go through to the next round. So well done to:

These students are now invited to take part in a series of virtual workshops to help them develop their skills. The workshops will be demanding and challenging but for those who participate and complete them the rewards will be of great assistance to them in their future career choices. Students will have the opportunity to work alongside Local MPs, Nuclear Power Industry, BEP, Energus, Carlisle County Council, Simon Rogan from L’Enclume and Cumbria LEP to develop their CVs, communication and presentation skills.
