Celebrating Mrs Gaskin – Our Superstar!

At Windermere, we talk often about resilience and the importance of facing challenges head-on. Last week, our very own Mrs Gaskin gave us the perfect example of what that looks like in action.

With the support of children, parents and staff gathered on the shores of Hodge Howe, she bravely took on one of her biggest fears – and triumphed. The atmosphere was electric as the Windermere family cheered her every step of the way. A special thank you also goes to the courageous mums who joined her in the water, swimming by her side in solidarity.

This inspiring feat wasn’t just about courage; it was also for a cause close to our hearts. By taking the plunge, Mrs Gaskin has already raised an incredible £1,556 for the Stannite Bursary Fund, which helps provide opportunities that make a Windermere education so special.
