On 12 September 2025 we were absolutely delighted to welcome local MP Tim Farron for a special tree planting ceremony to mark the opening of our newly established Pre-Prep, Elleray House and the coming together on one site.

The ceremony celebrated with pupils, parents, governors and staff gathering to commemorate this exciting new chapter in our school’s history.

During the event, Mr Farron spoke warmly to the children about the symbolism of planting a tree, likening its growth and strength to the flourishing journey of pupils at
Windermere School.

Two pupils, Esme and Ethan, proudly guided Mr Farron on a tour of the new facilities,
showcasing the bright and inspiring learning spaces now available to the youngest
members of our school community.

The occasion concluded with a delicious afternoon tea, giving parents, governors and staff the opportunity to come together and celebrate the school’s shared vision for the future.
