A Grand Day to Remember: Windermere School Celebrates the Opening of Its New Pre-Prep and Prep School

It was with immense pride and joy that Windermere School marked a major milestone in its history with the Grand Opening of our brand-new Pre-Prep and Prep School. The event, held on a sunlit afternoon, was a true celebration of growth, community and the promise of the future.

We were deeply honoured to welcome Colonel Chris Sanderson OBE as our guest of honour. His inspiring address captivated the audience and set a fittingly uplifting tone for the day’s events.

A highlight of the afternoon was a heartfelt performance by our pupils of Old Green Lanes—a moving tribute to tradition and community spirit. The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with joy and excitement, as families, prospective families, alumni and local supporters explored the stunning new facilities that will serve generations of young learners.

Laughter and conversation filled every corner of the school, reflecting the enthusiasm and pride shared by all who attended. The new spaces, designed to support creative learning and personal growth, were met with admiration and excitement from visitors of all ages.
