Celebrating Australia Day

Happy Australia Day! Today, we enjoyed a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Australian culture and history here in school.

We were delighted to welcome one of our lovely Australian parents, who spent time with the children sharing fascinating insights into Australia, its history and what life is like there. The session brought learning to life and gave pupils a chance to hear first-hand experiences, ask thoughtful questions and deepen their understanding of another country and culture.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were fully engaged throughout. A big thank you to our visiting parent for giving up their time and helping to make Australia Day such a memorable and enriching occasion for our pupils.
