The Windermere School community received a visit from our local MP Tim Farron on Thursday 6 October 2022.

Mr Farron enjoyed a tour of the school, and spent time with the Headmaster, Tom Hill during which they discussed many matters including Mr Hill’s emphasis on sustainability as being the dominant theme in Windermere School’s next chapter.

After the visit, Mr Hill said, “The meeting was an excellent opportunity to discuss our work as a school in the community and as a significant employer in the region. Mr Farron’s particular focus on the current challenges being faced across the region by businesses were explored and it was encouraging to hear of his support for the school and our exceptional reputation for holistic education.”

We are very much looking forward to being able to develop more links between our school and the local community.
