Photography Club

30 April 2021

This week the weather turned cold and overcast but this climate is actually great for photography as the light is different and removes shadows that can spoil a subject.
As our beautiful Lakeland bluebells were just starting to pop up this had to be our subject, so the students were asked to use a few techniques such as the balance of 3, angles, and depth of field to capture the daffodils, bluebells, and cherry blossom trees. One student focused on the technique of ‘framing’ a subject and created some lovely shots with curved edging.
All in all, there were some creative photos this week that depict how beautiful our campus is at present.
