The Amazing Friends of Windermere School Have Done It Again!

What a wonderful way to start the new Half Term! The incredible Friends of Windermere School have once again gone above and beyond, showing just how special and dedicated our school community truly is.

Over the break, this remarkable team of parents gave up their own time to completely transform our staffroom, and what a transformation it is! With fresh coats of paint, stylish touches and a thoughtful eye for detail, they have created a beautiful, warm and homely space where staff can relax, recharge and enjoy some calm during their busy days. The finishing touches have made it feel welcoming, uplifting and full of life once again.

But the surprises didn’t stop there! When staff returned after the Half Term break, they were greeted not only by their newly refreshed staffroom but also by an array of delicious homemade cakes, lovingly baked by The Friends. The smell of fresh cake and the sight of a beautifully decorated space truly lifted everyone’s spirits and reminded us all of the kindness and generosity that define our Windermere School community.

 The time, effort and care that The Friends have poured into this project reflect the genuine love and pride they have for our school. Their willingness to give so freely, balancing their own busy lives to help create something so special, is deeply humbling and incredibly appreciated by every single member of staff.
