Times Table Hunt
3 December 2020
Outdoor Learning takes the curriculum outdoors and into our amazing Lake District environment, whether that is the school grounds or the wider area.
Students who experience an outdoor learning environment are more attentive, while consistent exposure to nature has been shown to decrease stress and anxiety, help elevate mood, and promote positive emotion. Learning in this way is more memorable, and allows our students to participate more actively in their own education.
In this case, Years 3 and 4 were conducting a times tables hunt in the grounds, and we all know how elusive some of those particularly tricky times tables can be!
A big well done to our winners, you worked hard, showed great teamwork, and should be very proud of yourselves.
