Year 12 Residential: An Unforgettable Start to Sixth Form Life

10 December 2025

Recently, Year 12 enjoyed their much-anticipated residential, a cherished tradition that takes place every year during the first term. The trip offered a fantastic opportunity for our Sixth Form students to strengthen friendships, step outside their comfort zones and embark on the first steps of their CAS (Creativity, Activity and Service) journeys.

Over the course of the residential, students took part in a variety of enriching experiences. They volunteered within the local community, challenged themselves with thrilling activities at Honister, and even spent time getting to know a friendly herd of alpacas, an undeniable highlight for many!

What a wonderful way to kick off the Sixth Form journey at Windermere School. With memories made, confidence boosted, and friendships deepened, Year 12 have set a positive and enthusiastic tone for the year ahead.
