Year 3 have been studying Light and Shadow in their Science lessons this week and measuring the length and width of objects in Maths.

As part of their investigations, the children had to predict and then measure the width of a shadow when an object was at different distances from the light source.

They discovered that the further away from the light source an object is, the smaller the shadow.
