Year 6 – Adventurous Learning
26 November 2020
In Adventurous Learning Year 6 learned about structures. First, they were challenged to build a tower or a bridge out of materials they could find at home. This was to investigate the best shapes for a stable and secure structure. Once they had evaluated their building techniques and how to make a stable structure, they were challenged to upscale their structures with materials they could find outside.
We saw some excellent structures. Holly’s spaghetti bridge was 2.9m! Ethan’s tower was over 6 feet tall! It was impressive to see the creativity and ingenuity they all showed when building.
