Year 8 – Adventure Activities
24 March 2021
For their final activity of the term, Year 8 could pick what they wanted to do. They chose three out of four options – mountain biking, watersports at Hodge Howe and a team challenge.
The bikers had a fantastic trip into Kentmere, descending the cracking three rivers track to a bus we had parked there earlier in the day. Mr Platt was very impressed with the bikers, one of whom had done very little off road biking before.
Mr Rowe looked after some sailors, Mr Cooke some paddlers and Mr Reedy led the team activity – building cardboard box boats!
Quote of the day ‘it is amazing we can get here in a lesson from school’.
