A Magical Evening with the Friends of Windermere School

On Friday 28 November, the Friends of Windermere School hosted a truly magical drinks party at the stunning Townhead Estate, an evening filled with warmth, community spirit and heartfelt generosity.

From the moment guests arrived, festive cheer filled the air. The evening began with beautifully served drinks before everyone enjoyed a delicious feast prepared by Karen Rhodes Weddings and Events. Every detail had been thoughtfully planned, creating a wonderful atmosphere where our whole community could come together in support of the school.

One of the many highlights of the night was the spectacular  auction, hosted by the ever-charming Mr Lofthouse-Jones. With an array of incredible auction lots on offer, the room was buzzing with excitement and thanks to the remarkable generosity of our families and friends, we raised an outstanding amount of money for Windermere School. These funds will go directly towards enriching the experiences and opportunities we can offer our pupils.

Meanwhile, our younger guests enjoyed their own special celebration, complete with a lively disco that kept spirits high and little feet dancing all evening!

We want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who attended, donated, bid, or played a part in making this event such a success. Your kindness and support have a real and lasting impact on our school community.

Windermere School is an Independent Boarding and Day School for ages 3-18, across Junior School, Senior School and Sixth Form.
