Performing Arts Week 2026: A Celebration of Talent and Teamwork
10 February 2026
Last week marked one of the most anticipated events in the Windermere School calendar – Performing Arts Week. This much-loved tradition once again brought together pupils from Year 7 through to Year 13 in a true celebration of creativity, collaboration and house spirit.
Each house group was given the challenge of creating an original performance, with students working across year groups and led by their dedicated house captains. Rehearsals took place every evening after school, with an incredible level of commitment shown by all involved as ideas were developed, refined and brought to life.
The week culminated in a spectacular final performance on Saturday, where all houses took to the stage to showcase their hard work. With judges invited from outside the school, the standard of performances was exceptionally high, making for a thrilling and closely contested competition.
Every house delivered an impressive and memorable performance, and the judges were thoroughly impressed by the talent on display. Congratulations go to all students and staff involved for their enthusiasm and dedication. A special congratulations to Flemyng, who were crowned the Performing Arts Week 2026 winners.
Well done to everyone who made the week such a success!
