A Memorable Trip to Blackburn Rovers!
3 February 2025
Last night, Year 5 and 6 embarked on an unforgettable trip to watch Blackburn Rovers take on Coventry City in an exciting football match. Accompanied by Mr Dolman, Mrs Cooper and Mrs Gaskin, the children set off after school, brimming with excitement for their evening adventure.
The pupils were thrilled to experience the electric atmosphere of a live football game, cheering enthusiastically for Blackburn Rovers. Despite the home team’s 2-0 loss spirits remained high as they embraced the joy of being part of the crowd. To top it off, everyone enjoyed some delicious stadium snacks, adding to the fun of the night.
But the excitement didn’t end when the final whistle blew! After the game, the group returned to school, where some lucky children continued the adventure with a sleepover in the boarding house. It was the perfect way to cap off a memorable outing filled with camaraderie, laughter and lasting memories.
Year 5 and 6 are already looking forward to their next adventure—whatever that may be!
