Celebrating the Class of 2025: Sixth Form Graduation and Leavers Ball
2 June 2025
On Friday 23 May, we had the great pleasure of celebrating a significant milestone for our Year 13 students — their Sixth Form Graduation and Leavers Ball. This special day marked the end of their academic journey at Windermere and the beginning of exciting new chapters in their lives.
The celebration began with a moving graduation ceremony, where students were joined by their families, friends, and teachers to reflect on their achievements and growth. It was a particularly poignant moment as we welcomed them back to school after completing their final IB examinations.
For some students, this marked the end of a journey that began in Pre-School; for others, it was the culmination of two transformative years in Sixth Form. No matter when they joined us, each student has made a meaningful impact on our community — and each now carries with them the enduring identity of being a Stannite.
Following the ceremony, everyone gathered on the terrace to enjoy drinks and conversation in the afternoon sunshine, before heading to the elegant Belsfield Hotel for a celebratory dinner and evening event. It was a night filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and shared memories — a fitting send-off.
We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2025. Their resilience, determination, and kindness have left a lasting legacy. While their time at Windermere School as students has come to a close, they will always be part of our school community. Once a Stannite, always a Stannite.
