We are delighted that 10 students have been successfully selected for the Dream Placement Interview Day on 13 December 2022 in Workington. Dream Placement is a unique Cumbrian initiative, project managed by the Centre for Leadership Performance (CforLP), that brings together bright, motivated young students aged 16-18 with some of the most forward-looking and successful businesses in the county. It is a leadership development programme that for some young people will result in a week’s Dream Placement in industry.

To get to this point the students have had to complete a detailed application form and attend a number of online seminars.

The next stage is being invited for interview by up to three businesses in Cumbria and then they will select students for a placement next year.

This is the third year that Windermere School has entered into the Dream Placement and our students are going from strength to strength. In the first year we had 1 successful student, last year we had 6 and this year 10 students have successfully been selected for interview.
