What an unforgettable week it’s been at Windermere School! After days of hard work, rehearsals and creative brilliance, the Performing Arts Week competition culminated in a stunning final performance on Saturday, 8 February. The energy, excitement and camaraderie on stage were simply unmatched.

Congratulations to Flemyng, who took home the win with a dazzling performance that wowed the audience and judges alike. However, every house deserves a standing ovation for their incredible creativity and dedication. From the cultural flair of Cavendish’s Greece to the vibrant energy of Lonsdale’s Brazil and Strickland’s elegant celebration of France, each house brought something unique and memorable to the stage.

A special shootout goes to the brilliant Performing Arts Captains, who demonstrated leadership and passion, guiding their houses to success. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the teachers who joined in with some unforgettable acting moments that delighted the audience and pupils alike.

Finally, a huge thank you to Mrs McCallum and Mrs Nield, whose hard work and dedication made this spectacular event possible.

Performing Arts Week 2025 was a celebration of creativity, teamwork and school spirit — and we couldn’t be prouder of every single pupil who took part.
