Year 13 Lead Inspiring Adventure Lesson for Year 5
26 January 2026
This afternoon, we were incredibly proud to see outstanding cross-year collaboration as our Year 13 students, Charlie and Isaac, delivered an engaging Adventure lesson for Year 5.
Charlie and Isaac both study the NCFE Adventure Course and come from proud military families, something they spoke about with confidence and pride. They shared their growing expertise by teaching Year 5 a range of bushcraft skills, demonstrating excellent leadership, communication and professionalism throughout the session.
The lesson was a wonderful example of older students acting as positive role models, supporting younger pupils and sharing their learning in a meaningful and practical way. Year 5 were fully engaged and absolutely loved the experience.
Well done to Charlie and Isaac for representing their course, their families and the school so brilliantly, and for making this such a memorable and valuable afternoon of learning for everyone involved.
