Year 5 and 6 recently had an unforgettable afternoon as they stepped into the exciting world of entrepreneurship with a Dragons’ Den-themed challenge. We were incredibly fortunate to be joined by the brilliant Sam Ashdown, who lent her expertise as our special guest judge.

The pupils were split into groups, each supported by a dedicated Sixth Form mentor, and tasked with creating an Easter-themed business idea. With creativity in full flow, they brainstormed unique concepts, developed their pitches, and presented their ideas to the rest of the groups. Sam provided insightful feedback, and with prizes up for grabs—including awards for the most original idea and best business plan—the competition was fierce yet friendly.

The pupils amazed us with their innovative thinking and confident presentations, demonstrating fantastic teamwork and entrepreneurial spirit. Our Sixth Form mentors played a crucial role, guiding and inspiring their younger peers throughout the process.
