Year 8 Take on Long Churn Cave — An Unforgettable Adventure!

This week, Year 8 enjoyed an incredible Adventure lesson exploring the spectacular Long Churn Cave, located near Ribblehead in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. With stunning views of Pen-y-ghent, one of the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks, the setting could not have been more inspiring for their underground journey.

Caving is an activity that can spark fear in many, but our resilient Year 8’s embraced the challenge from start to finish. From squeezing through narrow passages to discovering hidden caverns, they made the most of every second. Their teamwork, courage and determination shone throughout the experience, making it a truly memorable day for all involved.
