We are delighted to introduce Nurse Abi, our dedicated School Nurse, who brings over 12 years of experience in paediatric nursing.

Abi began her career at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital before moving into the community as a Complex Care Children’s Community Nurse. Most recently, she has worked as a Complex Nurse Specialist, supporting children and families with a wide range of health needs.

In her role at our school, Abi provides compassionate care for pupils who are unwell, while also offering valuable guidance and support for those managing long-term health conditions. Her professional expertise ensures that every child receives the care and reassurance they need during the school day.

As a mother of three young children herself, Abi understands the importance of promoting health and wellbeing in a school environment. Her approach is not only professional but also caring and empathetic—helping pupils feel safe, supported and understood.

We are thrilled to have Abi as part of our team and know she will make a positive difference to the lives of our pupils and their families.
