A Spanish Adventure Fuelled by the Friends of Windermere School’s Generosity

The Adventure Team recently took 10 eager pupils on an extraordinary climbing trip to the sunlit cliffs of Spain. This unforgettable experience was made even more special thanks to the generous support of the Friends of Windermere School, who donated £750.00 to our Outdoor Education department. Their contribution was for us to purchase new climbing shoes, essential gear that not only enhanced our team’s experience in Spain but will continue to support future adventures for many years to come.

Our pupils put these shoes to great use, tackling challenging routes and learning valuable skills. The new climbing shoes were an immediate hit, providing comfort and confidence as our climbers scaled new heights each day. Our Adventure Team is beyond grateful to the Friends of Windermere School, who have, once again, shown their commitment to enriching our school community.

Windermere School is an Independent Boarding and Day School for ages 3-18, across Junior School, Senior School and Sixth Form.
