On Monday, 3 February, a team of 11 talented pupils represented our school at the Summit Up Climbing Competition in Oldham. Competing against other schools, our climbers faced eight challenging boulder problems and three top-roped climbs, each tailored to different age groups and skill levels.

Our pupils gave it their all, demonstrating skill, determination and teamwork throughout the event. We are incredibly proud of everyone’s performance, with several achieving outstanding results:

Josh S – 3rd place in Y9/10 Boys
Penelope W – 3rd place in Y9/10 Girls
Tori D– 5th place in Y7/8 Girls
Holly J – 5th place in Y9/10 Girls

A huge well done to Owen R, Edie J, Jacob M, Henry C, Magnus F, Layla M, and Alfie H, who all climbed brilliantly and contributed to an amazing day of competition.
