Year 7 Sleepover at Langdale House
25 September 2025
On Tuesday evening, Langdale House was transformed as Year 7 pupils gathered for their much-anticipated sleepover. The evening began with a delicious dinner before excitement mounted for the first activity of the night: Race Across the School.
In this challenge, pupils were divided into two teams and given both a camera and a checklist of locations across the school site. Working together, each team raced to capture photographs at every location before returning to Langdale House. The fastest team back, with all their photos complete, were declared the winners. The task not only sparked plenty of laughter but also encouraged teamwork and creativity as pupils planned their routes and posed for their shots.
The fun continued back at Langdale House with a variety of games, including the ever-popular Uno. There was even a chance to “beat Mrs Dalzell at Uno,” a challenge that several pupils proudly achieved! The evening was filled with energy, camaraderie and lots of smiles.
After settling down for the night, pupils enjoyed a well-earned rest before waking to a hearty breakfast the following morning. It was the perfect way to round off a memorable experience.
The Year 7 sleepover was a fantastic success, giving pupils the chance to bond, try something new, and create lasting memories together.
