Adventure Courses
Summer Adventure Courses in the Lake District
Under the expert instruction of specialist Adventure staff, children taking part in our Adventure Courses will participate in all manner of exciting activities, ranging from abseiling, ghyll scrambling, rock climbing, kayaking, caving, paddle boarding, and horse riding. Using the beautiful Lake District National Park as our playground we will challenge students through a varied programme of excitement, confidence building, and learning new skills.
The experience and qualifications of our Adventure Courses team allow us to make the best use of the Lake District and Dales National Parks getting students on to the best locations for our activities. None of our activities are done “on-site” allowing students to undertake activities in some breath taking locations.
The adventure courses are open to everyone and we make full use of the knowledge and expertise of the Adventure team at Windermere School and their intimate knowledge of the National Park. Let your child come and challenge themselves and have the experience to last a lifetime and make new friends. With a strong emphasis on both personal development in leadership and outdoor skill acquisition, the week is sure to be action-packed with a heavy dose of adrenaline!
