Litter Picking at Miller Ground

On Monday, a number of pupils from Years 9, 10 and 11 went litter picking around Miller Ground. They filled so many rubbish bags that they used the whole flat bed truck that had been provided by the council! Our thanks goes out to Windermere Town Council for the use of their equipment and to Westmorland and Furness for their help coordinating this effort!
Through the Round Square pillars of Service and Environmentalism, we hope that our pupils will grow to feel a responsibility, not only to the stunning natural environment in which we are so lucky to live and work, but the wider world, adding to it in a positive way.
