Introducing Jake who is our Year 8 Music Scholar, he plays cornet and trumpet.

Jake recently played in National Youth Brass championships with the Lancashire Youth Brass band, they came 2nd in the country, a massive achievement. After this competition Jake was invited to play in the Lancashire Youth Symphony orchestra, this is unusual for a student to be invited to join a highly competitive orchestra at such a young age.

Jake is passionate about his music and currently plays in many bands and orchestras, his mum and dad are very busy taking him to all his rehearsals, he is a member of:
