We have been privileged to host a group of pupils from Debsirin School, Bangkok this week. The visit was the first of its kind for Windermere School and has allowed us to form a strong relationship with Debsirin for the future.

Debsirin pupils have enjoyed a range of activities and experiences over the course of the week ranging from tree-top treks, hill walking in the fells, science-based learning activities, a lake cruise, The World of Beatrix Potter experience and time in lessons on the Senior School site. The pupils have enjoyed being immersed in Cumbrian and school culture and have made lifelong memories to take back with them to Thailand.

Mr Hill said of the visit, “It has been a fantastic week and we have thoroughly enjoyed welcoming the group from Debsirin. Not only have they had the opportunity to see into our special community we have also been enriched by learning more about Thailand, its people and cultures.”
