Year 10 Service
13 November 2020
Over the next few months, students in Years 10 and 11 will be using their hours of Service to help staff decorate our fantastic watersports centre, Hodge Howe. Here, Year 10 students are sanding the woodwork before the painting begins.
Service is one of the six Round Square Pillars upon which Windermere School is built. We believe that through defining and promoting a Spirit of Service, we will promote responsible social action that is based on a deep understanding of challenges and issues faced by individuals and communities in need of support throughout the world.
In the Sixth Form, this work continues as part of CAS (Creativity, Activity and Service) for the IBDP students and remains as Service Learning for our IBCP students.
