It is hard to believe that we have already completed a whole half term. I have had the pleasure of meeting many of you over the last few weeks and I am enjoying catching up with some new and familiar faces at the Senior School, as well as visiting the Junior School weekly.
It has been lovely to experience for myself all the excellent opportunities on offer at the Senior School and I have appreciated seeing the students participate in many academic endeavours, Reflections and activities. The weather has been extremely kind so far this term with a number of sporting fixtures taking place. I loved watching the Elleray Mini Olympics, run by the Year 12 IBCP BTEC Business class last week, the organisation and leadership skills on show were exceptional and I would encourage you to read their round up article below.
I wish to congratulate Year 13 on successfully completing their examinations showing maturity and commitment in their preparation. They were more than deserving of their celebratory, graduation evening and Leavers’ Ball, and we all wish them every success in the future. We look forward to hearing about their further adventures but we want them all to know that they will always be part of the Windermere School family.
Many students are still undertaking their GCSE examinations and we wish them all luck as they continue to revise over half term, but we have every confidence that they will strive to achieve to their potential.
I wish you all a restorative break and I already cannot wait for all the excitement we have planned for the last half term of this academic year.
